FOR INDIAN CITIZEN
Those travelers who have the Indian passport they do not require the visa, it was affected from 1st Oct 2000. Once when the Indian travelers get to the checkpoint they have to show their passport or an identity card issued by the Indian government, in case of children under the 10 years they do not need to carry any ID cards.
FOR OTHER NATIONS
VISA is required to enter to Nepal, which you can get in Nepalese Embassy or Immigration in Tribhuwan International Airport. Two passport size photos are required to get VISA.
For any foreigner who wants to visit Nepal, he/she must have to valid passport or any travel documents that can enable to enables VISA. Tourist visa can get from Nepalese Embassy or Immigration of Nepal in TIA.
The VISA options and COST :
- Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 15 days - US$ 25 or equivalent foreign currency.
- Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 30 days - the US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency.
- Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 90 days - the US $ 100 or equivalent foreign currency.
Tourist Visa Extension:
Tourist Visa can be extended by paying the US $ 2 or equivalent Nepalese currency per day.
Likewise, Multiple Entry visas can be obtained only for the extension period by paying the additional cost of US $ 20 and visa fee for the extended period. Similarly, tourists can renew their visa by paying Nepalese currency equivalent to the US $ 3 on the regular visa extension fee
